Kentucky Picture Cars Expands Vintage Options Through Partnership with VintageCarsForRent.com
Bringing More Classic Vehicles to Kentucky Film Sets
Kentucky productions now have expanded access to period-accurate vehicles thanks to a new collaboration between Kentucky Picture Cars and VintageCarsForRent.com. The partnership focuses on making a wider selection of vintage and classic cars available for film, television, and commercial shoots across the state.
Local productions frequently need cars that match specific eras, yet finding reliable options on short notice can be difficult. By connecting the Kentucky Picture Cars network with the national inventory at VintageCarsForRent.com, crews gain access to additional vehicles that might otherwise require costly transport from out of state.
How Car Owners Can Join the National Database
Owners of vintage vehicles who want their cars considered for future productions can list them at no cost through USA Movie Cars. The national database helps match available vehicles with productions looking for authentic rolling stock, increasing visibility for owners while giving filmmakers more choices close to home.
Maximizing Kentucky Film Incentives
Many states, including Kentucky, offer film tax credits and incentives that reward the use of local resources. When productions hire local picture cars and local actors, they strengthen their case for qualifying for these benefits. Using in-state vehicles and talent reduces travel costs while helping meet the spending thresholds required for higher credit percentages.
Kentucky Picture Cars works with productions to identify suitable local vehicles quickly, supporting both creative needs and financial incentives available in the state.
