Spotlight on this 1999 VanHool T2140 RV conversion

The vehicle is a 1999 VanHool T2140 converted into a 40-foot RV and party bus. It carries a white exterior and brown interior, with an automatic transmission and diesel power. Productions see a full-size coach that already serves private RV and party use, which translates directly to scenes needing a substantial motorhome or group transport vehicle on camera.

This conversion stands out because of its length and scale. A 40-foot bus offers visual weight that smaller RVs lack, allowing camera crews to frame wide shots or place talent inside for interior work. The white body provides a clean canvas for lighting or graphics, while the brown interior supplies a warm, lived-in tone that reads naturally in contemporary settings.

Kentucky Picture Cars and the Kentucky Picture Car Market

Kentucky Picture Cars connects local productions with vehicles like this one through the USA Movie Cars network. The site works alongside similar state-level picture car resources so location managers and coordinators can search for vehicles based in Kentucky rather than sorting through nationwide listings that may sit far from the shoot.

Louisville, Kentucky, serves as a practical base for many regional productions. When crews need a large coach without transporting it across state lines, a local option reduces logistics. USA Movie Cars supports this approach by linking with state picture-car sites such as Kentucky Picture Cars, which helps productions find vehicles that match both the script and the shooting location.

The size supports establishing shots where the bus arrives at a location or serves as a temporary base.
