1979 Pontiac trans am Rental Added in Kentucky

Kentucky Picture Cars has added a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am to its roster through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle is located in Mount Washington, Kentucky, and gives productions working in the region a ready option for period-correct transportation on set. Crews filming in Kentucky can reach this classic coupe without arranging long-distance transport from outside the state.

Spotlight on this 1979 Pontiac trans am

This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is described as a restored gold hardtop coupe. The exterior color is listed as gold with a beige interior, two-door configuration, automatic transmission, and gasoline fuel. The body style is a coupe, which keeps the silhouette low and distinctive for camera work.

Producers can use the gold finish and period styling to support scenes set in the late 1970s or early 1980s. The two-tone contrast between the gold body and beige interior supplies visual separation when the car appears in establishing shots or background plates. Its compact footprint also makes it practical for tight parking or street scenes where larger vehicles would crowd the frame.

History of the 1979 Pontiac trans am

The 1979 Pontiac Trans Am belongs to the second-generation Firebird platform that ran through the late 1970s and into the 1980s. During those years the model carried the sporty character that defined many American performance coupes of the period. The hardtop roofline and distinctive body lines made it a recognizable shape on roads and in media of the time.

As a 1970s-era sports car, the Trans Am offered a compact yet assertive profile that worked equally well in street scenes or parked background placements. Its automatic transmission and standard coupe layout reflect the common configuration for daily drivers of that decade. The gold exterior color further aligns with popular paint choices seen on personal vehicles throughout the late 1970s.

Kentucky Picture Car Rental Uses

This Pontiac Trans Am supports a range of production needs in Kentucky. Period dramas or stories set in the late 1970s can place the car in driveways, parking lots, or along rural roads to establish time and place. Music videos and commercial shoots can use the gold coupe as a character vehicle or as stationary set dressing that adds texture without dominating the frame.

Still photographers and branded content creators can also request the vehicle for lifestyle or automotive shoots. The two-door layout and classic proportions give the car a compact footprint that fits into both interior and exterior locations. Event planners looking for display vehicles at corporate or private gatherings in Kentucky have another option that reads as authentic to the era.
